Filters

On the Filters dialog, any existing filters appear in the Filters box on the left. Filters whose radio buttons are selected are currently in use. If no filters are selected, then all records are synchronized.

If the Exclude Private Data filter appears in the Filters list, you can select this filter to exclude any records marked Confidential or Private from synchronization.  If a record marked Confidential or Private has previously been transferred to the PIM, the record is deleted on the PIM on the next synchronization after the filter is applied.

To apply or edit a filter’s conditions and rules

  1. To apply a filter, select the filter from the list and click OK. Only one filter can be used at a time (any previously selected filter is no longer applied).

  2. To view the conditions and rules that apply to this filter, click Edit.

  3. Click OK when you are finished.
